Nicole Barros

Nicole has been painting since 1988, having started in acrylic and moved on to oils but found her true flair and passion in watercolours. She personally loves vibrancy, transparency and the challenge that the other mediums can not deliver. 

Nicole has had some wonderful teachers and the opportunity to work in some amazing studios over the years.  Originally from NSW, I began my formal training at Julian Ashton Art School Sydney. 

Her style is realism, she is not sure yet whether that is her personality or due to the large volume of commission work she does, most request are picture/photo perfect. 

Her paintings are housed all over the world in various businesses and private collections. Over the years she sold many paintings and has won awards. 

Teaching is also a passion of hers, having taught watercolours for 6 years. It's something that she looks forward to doing again in the near future.
