Kaye Freer
Kaye Freer grew up in South Frankston and now resides in Hastings.
It was her early interest in animals and horses, in particular, that led her desire to paint and draw domestic animals and wildlife.
Kaye spent some time in Germany working and traveling and it was here that she began to paint in oils.
Kaye has studied under Helga Ivanyi (realist artist), Don James, Barbara August, Max Wilks, Pat Grange, Janet Hayes and Joan Seaberry in pastel painting.
Kaye specialises in animal portraits and has won many awards for her paintings and drawings. Kaye has been a commission artist for 30 years.
