November - December 2021 Newsletter
We are back!!!!!!!
Despite a huge amount of closure and COVID limitations, we are finally (and hopefully permanently) back and open for business from 13th November.
The Packing Shed has undergone new management, and many changes will doubtless occur in the complex with businesses coming and going as a result of the restrictions we have all undergone. But the Gallery will be up and running from the 13th of this month, although only for Saturdays and Sundays, until we can sort out the artist roster and everyone's vaccine status. The Gallery itself is COVID-safe and we ask everyone to sign in with the QR code, and wear a mask. Also to keep a safe COVID distance while we make it a safe space for all.
We have given the August-September people the rest of the year because they had hardly put up their blue walls and the whole state closed down. So, come down and check us out. There will be some changes in the whole complex, but we are here, and that is the main thing!!! We look forward to seeing you.
Normal Thursday to Sunday times will resume for the month of December and onward.
Our opening times for both November and December are 10 - 5 as always. See you soon!!
Our feature artists for the next two months are Janice Blees and Norma Macpherson.
Janice has always had an interest in art and began painting in acrylics and watercolour after retirement. She enjoys depicting a wide range of subjects.
She has travelled locally and overseas and paints plein-air subjects as well as from her own photographic references
Norma has painted in most mediums but now paints mainly in oils. She has won numerous awards and her paintings have been sold both locally and to overseas buyers. She began painting in NSW and attended many classes run by notable artists. She has lived on the Mornington Peninsula for the last twenty years.
